What we collect, and why

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. Your listings (photos, description, city, first name) are public by design. Your email and phone number are not shown to other users.
Consent
We process this data with your consent, given when you sign in. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account (email siddhartha.nitie@gmail.com until an in-app button exists) — it is as easy as giving it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done.
Who we share it with (processors)
- Hosting: Netlify, Inc. (servers in the USA)
- Database: Neon (Databricks), AWS US East region
- Photo/video storage: Cloudflare R2
- Sign-in: Google
- Delivery partner (only if you book a delivery): Porter
Some of these store data outside India.
How long we keep it
While your account is active. After you delete your account we erase your personal data within [30] days, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example records needed for legal claims or law-enforcement requests). Beta data may be wiped when the beta ends; we will tell you first.
Your rights
You can ask to access a summary of your data, correct or update it, erase it, and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. Write to our grievance contact below. We will respond within the time the law requires (and at most 90 days).
Security and breaches
We use HTTPS, access controls and encrypted storage at our providers. If a personal-data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Rules require.
Children
ReKick is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly create accounts for children. Don’t show children’s faces in listing photos.
Complaints
